AngelList recognizes the importance of the data customers provide to us. This document, in addition to our privacy policy, provides an overview of what kinds of data we collect and safeguards we use to protect that data
AngelList uses physical, procedural, and technical safeguards to preserve the integrity and security of your information. We encrypt sensitive data at rest and in transport, in addition to a variety of technical & procedural measures including audit logs, encryption at multiple layers, HTTPs, automated security scanning, as well an ongoing security audit program. We periodically engage the advice of technical experts to provide consultation on data security and best practices.
AngelList operates on the Google Cloud Platform using servers in Iowa and other regions based in the United States. Google Cloud Platform is ISO 27001, SOC-2 certified.
AngelList has completed a SOC 2 audit. The full report is available to customers upon request.
AngelList allows you to set granular permissions for users on your dashboard and requires Two Factor Authentication for moving funds.
Security is core to our values, and we appreciate the input of security researchers acting in good-faith to help us maintain a high standard for the security and privacy of our users, which includes encouraging responsible vulnerability research and disclosure. We use your data to provide you with services and collect additional analytics to help us understand usage to improve the product. Beyond what we need to provide you with the services available on AngelList, we will not share de-anonymized data to third parties without your consent. An example of how we may use anonymized aggregate data is to display the aggregate number of companies using our product or the total number of options grants issued on the platform
